NO MOTIV Live@The Bench Warmer
SIKE. We didn't play a show at a bar... At least not an official real one. We definitely don't have any plans to, but we do have a new EP which is waiting to be mixed and released this year. For now, here's our best Earth Crisis impersonation!
GENTLEMEN PRE-PRODUCTION
A day after i arrived back home from my Philippines vacation, I picked up Max at Burbank airport, and we've been in Ventura rehearsing for the Gentlemen full length album. It's nice being back in the same studio that we spent many years in writing for No Motiv. We're going to be working out the kinks for the next couple nights, then we head out to Orange County for live tracking. We'll be recording all the music live at Buzzbomb Sound Labs. NEW Player, NEW Songs
I'm going to use the player widget available through ReverbNation. I'll be adding more songs in the next day or two. Aesthetically, it's hideous; but it seems to be very user friendly and allows for direct downloads. If you know of a player that we should be using instead, post a suggestion in the replies.

No Motiv + He Fails Me + recording = new music
With less than 24hrs left before I leave for the Philippines, I am very happy to say that the No Motiv Winterlong EP is finally tracked. I'm sure when I get home, I will want to make 1,000,000 changes to mixes, but for now I'm a happy camper. Somehow in the frenzy of packing and preparing for the trip, I found time to poorly record some vocal tracks to a new He Fails Me song. Thats 14 songs, ready for full production tracking. Oh dang. I'd post that new HFM song, but upon 3rd listen, I sound like shiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... Who knows, maybe Donny will post it anyways. As for Winterlong tracks? Ya'll gonna have to wait. Gotta talk to the kind people at Vagrant first.

Build A Nation
Welcome to the our Bright Lights blogspot! We developed this blogspot to let you into the world surrounding our family of bands and artists.
